Coldwater provides two to three bags of groceries, bread, hygiene items, dairy, and produce on Saturdays and the same items during the week depending on availability. Turkeys and holiday side dishes are included on the third Saturdays of November and December. Nutritious freshly prepared carryout meals are distributed at regular Saturday food pantries.
How do I get food?
Come to Coldwater (838 SW Blue Parkway Lee's Summit Mo 64063) from 10:30 am to 2 pm on the second and fourth Saturdays January through October and the first and third Saturdays in November and December. Call the office (816-786-0758) to make an appointment Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

Homebound? need food?
Volunteers deliver groceries to 35 to 50 homebound, food-insecure individuals on the second and fourth Saturdays January through October, and the first and third Saturdays in November and December. Recipients receive two grocery bags each Friends Day Saturday, plus turkeys and side dishes at Thanksgiving and Christmas.
How do I get food? Contact the office at 816-786-0758 to inquire about qualifications for Senior Mobile Pantry homebound deliveries.

Please visit the clothing closet for clothes and more. The Clothes Closet has clothing for all ages and genders. The selection also includes shoes, accessories, bedding, blankets, and towels.
How do I get clothes? Coldwater’s Clothes Closet is open from 10:30 am to 2 pm on the second and fourth Saturdays January through October and the first and third Saturdays in November and December. Coldwater’s address is 838 SW Blue Parkway, Lee’s Summit MO 64063.

Need Christmas Help?
Coldwater has a Christmas Adoptions program for families needing assistance with Christmas gifts for children who live in their household up to age 18. Generous families, churches, and businesses adopt the children, providing gift items valued at around $75 for each child. Families pick up the gifts on the third Saturday of December or the Friday evening before that Saturday.
How do I get Christmas gifts for my kids? Families must sign up at one of two Saturday food pantries in late October and early November.
Starting in 2023, you will be required to show one of the following for each of the children signed up:

need Diapers?
Coldwater’s Little Blessings provides 50 diapers or 30 training pants each month for children whose families sign up through online registration.
Families are referred to the program through Coldwater or by teachers who work with early childhood programs in the Lee’s Summit School District. Contact our office (816-786-0758) for access to the online registration.

Need School Supplies?
Coldwater distributes backpacks of school supplies to children whose families visit the Food Pantry for assistance.
How do I get school supplies?
To register, contact the Coldwater office (816-786-0758) at the beginning of July for the Saturday sign-up dates. You will need to provide your child’s school name and grade so volunteers can pack a backpack with the appropriate school supplies.
Need extra food for the weekend?
This program is a partnership between Coldwater, the Lee’s Summit School District, and Harvesters. Your child will receive a weekend backpack full of food. Each weekend food pack includes breakfast items, canned and packaged meals, and snacks.
How do I get extra food on the weekends for my kids? Lee’s Summit School District counselors select students to participate in the program at the start of each school year. If you are interested in your student receiving weekend food packs, contact your school counselor to determine if the program is available at your school.
